We run focused, practical workshops that give managers and team leads the tools they need today, not theories they forget by Friday. Small groups, real scenarios, measurable change.
Book a workshopA small team of facilitators who have spent years inside organisations before stepping out to teach what we learned the hard way.
Our founding facilitators spent a combined 22 years managing engineering and operations teams in the UK before launching Leadership Workshop Genius in 2019. The frustration was always the same: leadership training felt disconnected from the daily mess of deadlines, difficult conversations and shifting priorities.
So we built workshops around real situations. Each session uses scenarios drawn from actual workplace challenges, not hypothetical case studies from a textbook published in 1998. Participants practise giving feedback, running difficult one-to-ones, delegating under pressure and making decisions with incomplete information.
We cap every workshop at 14 people. That keeps the room small enough for genuine discussion and large enough for varied perspectives. Every participant leaves with a personal action plan reviewed by the facilitator within two weeks.
Four workshop formats designed for different stages of leadership growth. Each one can be delivered on-site at your office or at our training space in North Kihnfield.
A two-day programme for people who have been promoted into their first management role within the last 12 months. We cover the shift from individual contributor to leader: setting expectations, running weekly check-ins, giving honest feedback without damaging trust, and managing former peers. Participants complete four live practice exercises with video playback.
Half-day intensive focused on the conversations managers dread: performance warnings, salary disappointments, interpersonal conflict and redundancy notices. We use trained role-play actors so participants face realistic emotional responses. Each manager receives a personalised feedback sheet scoring clarity, empathy and directness.
A full-day workshop for managers with two or more years of experience who need to shift from tactical execution to strategic planning. We work through goal-setting frameworks, resource allocation exercises and stakeholder mapping using your organisation's real objectives. Groups of four build and present a 90-day strategic plan by end of day.
Six-month programme pairing monthly group sessions with individual coaching calls. Each cohort includes 8 leaders from different organisations, which creates an honest peer-support network. Between sessions, participants complete structured reflection journals that feed into their coaching conversations.
From first conversation to follow-up, here is what happens when you work with us.
A 30-minute phone or video call where we learn about your team size, current challenges and what success looks like. No slides, no sales pitch.
We draft a session plan tailored to your group. You review it, suggest changes and approve the final agenda within five working days.
Our facilitator arrives 45 minutes early to set up. The workshop runs with a mix of short teaching segments, group exercises and individual reflection.
Two weeks after the workshop, each participant receives written feedback and a 20-minute call to review their action plan progress.
Honest feedback from people who have been through our workshops.
"I dreaded giving negative feedback before this workshop. The role-play exercises were uncomfortable in the best way. Within a week I had my first proper performance conversation, and it went better than any I had attempted in three years of managing."
"The strategic thinking workshop forced me to stop firefighting and actually plan. My 90-day plan from the session became the template my director now uses across the department."
"Small group size made a real difference. I could ask questions without feeling like I was slowing down 40 other people. The follow-up call two weeks later kept me accountable."
Quick answers to the things people usually ask before booking.
Tell us about your team and we will suggest the right workshop format. No obligation, no automated follow-up sequences.
